Our Homeschooling Trauma book

The book is avaliable as in Kindle format here:

A chronicle on how, amongst other woes, our two minor boys were removed from under our care to a Child and Youth Care Centre (CYCC) for well over three months due to being home educated unregistered despite submitting registration application forms to the designated office.

The chronicle features details on what I believe to have been roles played by both organs of the Limpopo Department Social of Development, Limpopo Department of Basic Education as well the Pestalozzi trust at some point during our home education endeavour. A schooling system that was coveted after being found to be a most valid alternative when we had no access to a worthy Christian School.

While the book is thus largely a chronicle, I try to highlight the key aspects parents could ideally take special note of both within and at the end of the book (especially if you find yourself somewhat in our shoes). Also, both aspiring and existing home education parents can potentially gain more insight on the homeschooling landscape in some parts of the country.

Above all, our account is being put out there, so the reader can read and hopefully their own judgement – on whether we have suffered unjustly in the hands of the noted role player or if we are simply under self created delusion.
